THE Harry Potter and by reshooting, they nullify the performances of actors such as Alan Rickman obsession Robbie Coltrane who embraced their characters so much that they almost walked off the paper. Maybe we don’t need them (*khm* Fifty Shades of Grey *khm*), but there wouldn’t be countless books and movies that were born from fan fiction inspired by Bella and Edward’s love.
Maybe With Robert Pattinson no one hated it more Twilightot, but even he wouldn’t deny that vampires wouldn’t be experiencing their renaissance without it. Rebooting them is therefore like erasing the unavoidable values they created.
Both productions have already become iconic in themselves, and what’s more, cultural reference points. It cannot be emphasized enough, what a stupid decision it was from the Hollywood studios to remake two film series that defined an entire generation, sample Harry Potter and that Twilight.
